Parc Bit:

This is multi-purpose room with capacity for 140 people, with all the equipment needed for any kind of act. The congress system includes microphone, megaphone and simultaneous translation equipment for every attendant. Simultaneous English-Spanish translation will be available.

The ParcBit is the park of new technologies, managed by the Balearic Islands Government, where some innovative companies are settled. It is located at ca. 7 km from the centre of Palma city, very close to the University of the Balearic Islands.

Transports from Palma are easy. The only underground line in Palma connects the centre to the University (~15 minutes journey), where a service bus exists for arriving at ParcBit in less than 5 minutes. Underground frequencies are every 15 minutes from Monday to Friday and every 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.

Palmaaquarium:

The EEA Board Meeting and Assembly (including the welcome cocktail) and the Conference dinner will be held at the Palmaaquarium, the new aquarium in the city, where delegates will visit the deepest tank in Europe containing a variety of shark and ray species.

Bus line Nº 15 connects the centre of Palma with the Palmaaquarium and Playa de Palma. A number of bus stops are located in the main streets of the city, and you should check that bus nº 15 stops at the selected one. The average frequency of line 15 is 8 minutes. The journey from Plaça d’Espanya to Palmaaquarium is about 35 minutes long.
